Any student interested in serving on an Advisory Committee to the School Committee that meets every other month with with the School committee please see Mr. Harrison by the end of the week. It is a great student leadership position for those interested.
Student gov't positions available in the main office:
For Student Body, treasurer and secretary
For Seniors and Juniors, there are 4 representatives position's open
For Sophomores, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and 5 representatives are available.
For Freshmen, president, nice president, treasurer, secretary and 5 reps.
Nomination forms will be due Friday, the 13th, and can be turned into the main office. Elections will be held on Thursday, the 17th. Any student with questions should see Ms. Beckett in room 108 or Mr. Cooke in room 119.
Attention Student Drivers!
You must purchase a parking spot by nest Friday, 9/13. Please pick up the paperwork in the office or online. The cost is $60 and a parent signature is required.
Anyone interested in participating in Leo Club this year is invited to our first meeting on Tuesday the 10th after school in the Media Center.
There will be a freshmen mentoring meeting Tuesday after school in the small cafe.
Just a reminder that on Wednesday 9/11, you will report directly to your summer reading session A group at the start of school.
Attention Juniors and Seniors:
Representatives from Dean College, University of Connecticut, St. Josephs College of Maine, Sacred Heart University, Western New England College, Newbury College, and Johnson State College will be visiting next week. Interested students may sign up in advance in the Guidance Center. Sign ups will not be allowed the day of the college visit.

The Boy's soccer team lost to Apponequet 4-2. Nate Swartz and Connor Saleeba scored the only goals. Next game is at Greater New Bedford Vocational tomorrow.
The Girl's varsity soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss against Apponequet yesterday. The girls played well defensively, regardless of the loss. The girls take on GNBVT on Wednesday.
Auditions for the ProMusica select choir will be this Thursday (12th) and next Monday (16th) after school. See Mrs, Voccio to sign up and receive audition information.
Starting tomorrow breakfast will be available to purchase for students starting at 6:45.
The Football Team defeated Bourne on Friday afternoon 48-21. Norman Manchester and Kyle Rose scored two touchdowns while Jacab Juncker, Marty Parker, and Matt Goss each scored one. QB Nate Kowalski tossed two TD passes and Jacab Juncker booted six PAT's. Norman Manchester had an interception on defense.
Starting tomorrow morning, crossroads, the D-R school store will be open every day from 7:00 to 7:17 to sell agendas and anything else you may need. Again, tomorrow at 7:00 agendas on sale in the school store in Room 219. Quantities are limited so don't wait. Only $4.00 per agenda.
