Alden Foelsche
Class of 14’
Alden Foelsche is a three sport varsity captain of cross country, winter track, and spring track. His athletic success has placed him as number 2 on the team. This past Saturday, Alden earned his personal best time breaking 17 minutes in the 5K at the Twilight State Invitational in Cape Cod. In the other track seasons, Alden runs the 2 mile and 1 mile. After breaking his personal record in the 1 mile, which was under 5 minutes, he continues to make progress in the 2 mile because of his hard work and determination. When not competing athletically, Alden practices good time management skills by working 15 hours a week at Hannaford's as a cashier and bagger, takes four AP classes, and remains on the honor roll. He also started sailing eight years ago and was a volunteer sailing instructor for three years. Alden plans to pursue a college education in engineering after high school.
