First off, the DR Student Government would like to thank everyone who made this year's food drive such a great success. It has been so successful in fact that we are inviting all who could help to come to the school at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to help box the items raised  and bring them to the food pantries in Dighton and Rehoboth. Any and all help would truly by appreciated.

But now what we've all been waiting to hear, here are the FINAL results of the 2013 Spirit Week Food Drive: Coming in 4th with a final tally of 153 cans... the Freshmen Class! Next, edging by the freshmen with a late rally and a total of 195 cans... the Sophomores!

And now to our upper classmen, whose week long battle culminated in a final showdown today that will surely become part of DR legend.

Bringing in a stunning 711 items today to bring their final total to 980 cans ... the Juniors!
And finally, putting the icing on their coming from behind victory with an absurd last day effort of 970 cans, the Seniors are winners of this year's food drive with a final tally of 1,263 items!
Everyone's amazing efforts this week resulted in our students bringing in, 2,591 items, 3 times more than any other group of DR Students, ever. Great job everybody!

Any student who brings silly string to the pep rallies will immediately lose social privileges. Future pep rallies and school-wide events will also be jeopardized.

SAT Word of the Day:
infallible (adj)- not liable to fail, deceive, or disappoint; indubitable; sure; certain; unerring

The discovery that the teacher had given them the wrong answer was a shock to her students,  many of whom considered her infallible.
