Daily Announcements 12/5

Congratulations to the National Honor Society's Honor Bowl team. Our team defeated both Bourne and Wareham yesterday by a landslide! It  comes as no surprise that our team has vast knowledge of topics, including bodies of water in the Middle East,French translations, and obscure Bible verses.

On Monday, December 9th, there will be a meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance in Room 302.

The next Student Advisory  Committee meeting will be next Wednesday, December 11th, at 2 pm in the library.

Attention Student Government: There will be no meeting tomorrow but stop by Room 108 to sign up for t-shirt sizes by Friday.

Rehoboth Youth Basketball is looking for high school students to work as referees this season. Applicants should have  a knowledge of the basic rules of basketball. The pay is $10  per game. Each game lasts for an hour. Any interested students should sign up in the office.

There will  be a  Falcon Flyer meeting on Wednesday,  December 11th at 2:00 pm in Room 313. All current and new members should attend.

Our football banquet will be December 15th @4 pm tickets are required to attend $7 per person, tickets will be available Thursday night 6-7 pm @ the high school's Rehoboth entrance, also they can request tickets by calling Chris Whitmore at 508-669-6145.

All Football players and Cross-Country athletes are asked to clear out lockers and remove locks from the varsity locker-rooms to make way for winter sports teams.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: A representative from NSTAR Electricity Power Utility Technology  Program will be visiting next week.  Interested students may sign up in advance in the Guidance Center. Sign-ups will not be allowed the day of the college visit.

Attention: Latin Club! We will be going to the Brown University Latin Lessons and Carols next Monday, December 9th. Please see Mrs. Loell or one of the triumvirate to get the info and a permission slip if you are going with Magistra by van. You need to sign up by Wednesday.

Attention Seniors: A representative from Bristol Community College will be at  D-R on Thursday, December 12th for an on-site admissions day. If you are interested in attending BCC, please pick up an application in the Guidance office this week.Applications must be signed by a parent, and the application fee will be waived. Appointment times are limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.
