D-R Leo Club Visits Plymouth to participate in 2014 Mid-Winter Conference for Lions District 33S

On Saturday, January 11th, the D-R Leo Club traveled to Plymouth to participate in the 2014 Mid-Winter Conference for Lions District 33S.  The Leos, sponsored by the Dighton Lions, Rehoboth Lions, and Rehoboth Anawan Lions are a part of Lions International, the largest service organization in the world, with over 1.3 million members in 205 nations.

Accompanying the D-R Leos to the event was the Attleboro Leo Club.  The main objectives for the day were to allow the Leos to view the district  finalists for the Mass Lions Youth Speech Competition, to provide information on what Lions Clubs do, to share ideas with the other Leo Clubs attending, and to have fun and enjoy the day.  The club even got to sit and talk with International President Gary Palmer from Australia--head of the entire organization, which was a very rare and special opportunity.

The time was very enjoyable, and helped to reinforce the positive mission of the Lions Clubs of our district and around the world, as well as our very own D-R Leo Club
