Daily Announcements 1/28

The next drama rehearsal will be today from 2-4.

Join the D-R Fashion Club at its first meeting on tomorrow Wednesday, January 29th, from 2-3 in Room 305! All are welcome!

The CSF has selected the following two students to be the Town Captains for the CSF Door to Door Fundraiser this Spring:  Elizabeth Oakley and  Bailey Avila.

The boys' basketball team plays Greater New Bedford Vocational here @ DR tonight @ 6:30 p.m.

The Mock Trial Team defeated Durfee High School with a 30 point lead, with outstanding performances by Allan Fine, Brendan Henrique, and Cassidy Vincent.  The team faces Case High School next week for the 2nd match of the preliminary trials. 

Congratulations to Emily Colon on her acceptance to Westfield State University.

The DR Hockey team won to Apponoquet 5-1 yesterday.  Nick Soares scored 3 goals, 2 assists, Curtis Letourneau scored 1 goal 2 assists and Brandon Botelho scored 1 goal 2 assists.  Next game is Wednesday at home 6pm against Wareham.

Attention SAT Test takers.  This is a reminder that the March 8th SAT is quickly approaching.  Please visit www.collegeboard.org.  The deadline for registration is February 8th and the cost is $51.00.  If you have any questions, please see your guidance counselor. 

The DR Science Club will be meeting this Wednesday, after school, in room 214.  Come to the science club and discuss the night sky.  We will discuss constellations, planets, and suns.  Learn how to use your Smart phone to view the night sky.  Any questions see Ms. DuBois or Ms. McCabe

ATTENTION SENIORS:  A representative from Johnson & Wales University will be at D-R on Monday, February 10th for an on-site admissions interview day.  If you are interested in attending Johnson & Wales University, please pick up an application in the Guidance office TODAY.  Applications must be signed by a parent, and the application fee is waived.  Appointment times are limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.


There will be a student government meeting on Friday Jan. 31st  after school in the small cafe. Please make every effort to attend! If you cannot attend, but wish to come to the PBruins Game, please see Ms. Beckett or Mr. Cooke before FRIDAY.
