Daily Announcements 1/30

New Bedford Vocational defeated the boys' basketball team 65-57 Tuesday night.  Ben Roache had 16 points and 12 rebounds while Nick Koneski added 15, Jason Ramos 13, and Nate Swartz 11.  The Falcons play perennial-SCC-champions Wareham here @ DR on Friday night @ 6:30.

Drama rehearsal will end at 3:00 today.

REMINDER TO AP STUDENTS:  Final payment for your AP exams is due TOMORROW, Friday, 1/31.  Please bring your payment to Mrs. Shillan in Guidance.

The DR Hockey team won against Wareham 6-0.  Nick Soares scored 2 goals with 2 assists.  Curtis Letourneau scored 1 goal with 2 assists.  Brandon Botelho scored 2 goals with 1 assist.  Joey Givens scored 1 goal.  Matt McDonald got one assist.  Defense played a strong game.  Our record is 6-7.  The next game is tonight home at 7:30 against South Eastern.  Come support the team.

The wrestling team lost last night to the Cheiftains of Bristol Aggie by a score of 42-33. Wins by the Falcon Grapplers were gained by Brandon Tran, Dan Johnson, Joe Tomellini, Brandon Hyson, Chris Tito, and Ian Morrel. J-V wins were picked up by Andy Howland, Quentin Small, and Peter Marcille. The Team is back home next Wednesday against Silver Lake - where we will show our support for a cure for Breast Cancer.

The DR girls track team defeated Bourne and Case last night behind strong performances from just about everyone on the team. Meanwhile, the boys team edged Case and Bourne last night to remain undefeated and stay atop the SCC rankings.
