DR HIGH FIVE CLUB
Keanu Baltazar is a senior at DR who has impressed by way of his academic and athletic achievements, earning honor roll status all four years. A varsity basketball player since his freshman year, Keanu has flourished as a co-captain this season and has worked to continue the team’s strong tradition of leadership. Recently, Keanu scored a career best 22 points and 19 rebounds against New Bedford Vocational Technical HS. A three sport athlete, Keanu played football as a wide receiver and competes in the high jump, triple jump, 4x4 relay, and 400m hurdle during spring track. When not performing on the field, track, or court he volunteers as a Pop Warner Football Challenger Coach to assist children with special needs, helping them learn the game of football. A recipient of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship for his strong scholastic work, Keanu hopes to pursue a career in business management and eventually attend Law School after graduating from college.

Rachel Ferrara is a senior at DR who is a two-sport varsity captain for both the girls basketball and volleyball teams. As a captain, she demonstrates strong leadership on and off the court, especially to the younger players. She has served as a member of Leo Club and the 2013 Spirit Week Committee. When not at school, Rachel volunteers at a Summer Bible Program where she works with elementary school children. Additionally, Rachel uses her remaining free time to tutor. Versatile in many ways, Rachel has excelled academically, ranking third in her class. A member of National Honor Society and consistently earning high honor roll status, Rachel is interested in pursuing a career in math and science. Recently, she got admitted early decision to Holy Cross where she hopes to attend next year. Looking back at high school, Rachel says that she is proudest of her academic success and of the strong friendships she has formed in her time at DR.
