Daily Announcements 3/6

Student Government will be registering donors for the Blood Drive today during lunch.  In order to sign up, you will need to be 16 or older and have a signed permission form, which will be available at lunch or in the main office throughout the day.  There are further height and weight requirements you must also meet in order to donate.  Information about requirements and the donating process will be available at lunch. 

On April 27th, at the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association's annual banquet, D-R coach Dave Moura will receive the Assistant Football Coach of the Year Award . Coach Moura has coached football for twenty years at the collegiate and high school level, the last ten at D-R.  Congratulations to Coach Moura on this well-deserved recognition.

The Mock Trial team will be competing against Wayland High School in the state finals today at the Taunton courthouse today.  Best of luck to the team as they hope to secure a spot in the final 8 playoffs next week. 

The Best Buddies group would like to thank both students and staff for their help in pulling off another successful Spread the Word to End the Word campaign. You are the reason why we are widely recognized as a school that respects and appreciates individuals with disabilities. Good work!

Congratulations to Samantha Rodrigues on her acceptance to Saint Anselm College.

There will be a Gay/Straight Alliance meeting on Monday, March 10th after school in room 302. All are welcome to attend.

Comic book club today after school is cancelled.
