School Wide Summer Reading 2014

Directions: All students enrolled in college, honors, or AP English will read the school wide summer reading title. In addition, students enrolled in honors or AP English will read three additional titles. Students should consult the reading list for their specific course.
Assessment: All students are expected to have read the work before school begins in September. Teachers will assess summer reading in various classes on September 10th and 11th. These two days are cross-curricular days in which teachers from across subject areas will incorporate lessons based upon the book into their classes. Thus, students will receive credit in multiple classes. Students will earn a grade for their work. Any work not completed will receive a grade of zero.
