Daily Announcements 1/14

Drimprov will perform this Thursday at 6:00 in the small cafeteria.  The show is NOT scheduled for 5:00.  The show is free and all are welcome.

Any freshman interested in attending the midterm study session on Thursday from 4:30-6:30, please sign up in the Main Office.  We will be serving pizza and refreshments while you study.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Braga at lunch. 

Anyone interested in volunteering to work at this year’s soup kitchen which will be held at the First Baptist Church in Fall River on Tuesday February 3rd, may sign up in room 115. You will be required to have a signed parent permission form which you may obtain when you sign up.  See Mr. Moura if you have any questions.

Attention all students and faculty. In conjunction with this years soup kitchen we are also running a coat and clothes drive so if you have an opportunity to clean out your closets and want to get rid of old clothes, jackets, hats and gloves we will be glad to take them off your hands. You may drop off in room 115 or room 117 up to Friday Jan 30th. Thank you for your support.

Do you believe gender equality? Then come to the feminist club Wednesday January 14, 2015 in Ms.King's room 113. Both male and female students are welcomed!

The next drivers education class will be beginning on Tuesday, February 3rd.  Please come to the main office to sign up. 

Seekonk defeated the boys' basketball team 62-40 last night.  Cam Reed led the scoring with 11 points.  The falcons travel to Bourne Friday night for a 6:30 game.

Congratulations to Alyssa Masciarelli on her acceptance to Assumption College, Elms College, Emmanuel College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Quinnipiac University, Rhode Island College, Roger Williams University, Salem State University, University of New Haven, and Westfield State University. 

A reminder to Portuguese Club students that there will be a brief meeting today after school in room 122. We will discuss upcoming events and National Portuguese Exam. please be prompt.

The girls' basketball team defeated Seekonk last night 54-45. The team was lead by Kylie D'Ambrosio with 23 points and Julia Campezato with 16 points. The team plays Friday at home vs. Bourne.

Congratulations to Dan Medeiros on his acceptance to Marlboro College. 


The junior class is at it again... Do you like Dunkin Donuts?  Do you take the bus and can't get there in the morning?  The junior class will be selling Dunkin Donut treats in the cafeteria Friday morning from 6:55-7:15.  Visit us every Friday before school starts in the cafeteria.  $1.50 per donut and $2.00 for hot chocolate.  Or get both for $3.00.
