Daily Announcements 1/21

Attention Students,
This year’s Winter Ball will be held on Friday, February 6th from 6:30 p.m.  to 10:30 p.m. at the Venus de Milo restaurant in Swansea. Tickets are $25 each and will be on sale all in the Media Center.  Anyone who wishes to bring an outside guest must have a completed guest contract and a photocopy of their guest's license or other photo identification prior to purchasing their tickets. Guest contracts are now available in the Media Center and the main office. Any questions please see Mrs. O’Gara or Mrs. Bergeron.

Anyone interested in volunteering to work at this year’s soup kitchen which will be held at the First Baptist Church in Fall River on Tuesday February 3rd, may sign up in room 115. You will be required to have a signed parent permission form which you may obtain when you sign up.  See Mr. Moura if you have any questions.

Attention all students and faculty. In conjunction with this years soup kitchen we are also running a coat and clothes drive so if you have an opportunity to clean out your closets and want to get rid of old clothes, jackets, hats and gloves we will be glad to take them off your hands.
You may drop off in room 115 or room 117 up to Friday Jan 30th.

The next drivers education class will be beginning on Tuesday, February 3rd.  Please come to the main office to sign up. 

Due to tremendous demand—the sale of winter Ball tickets will be extended through next Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Tickets are on sale for $25 in the Media Center. Please see Mrs. Bergeron.

Music students planning to audition for SEMSBA on Feb. 7 must have all registration forms and $15 fee to Mrs. Voccio by 9 am this Friday.  After Friday a $20 late fee is added, making the cost $35. 

Congratulations to Cameron Lovell on his acceptance to Bryant University.  YAHOO!!

The first meeting for the Foreign Language Week Committe will take place next Tuesday, January 27th after school in room 124. Bring your ideas on how to make this year's celebration bigger than last years! See Mrs. Lomba with anny questions.

Starting Tuesday, January 27, breakfast will be available at the snack shop from 6:45 to 7:10 every morning.

Attention Student Body.  If you are interested in joining the Freshman Transition Team, please pick up your application in the main office.  When your application is complete, please sign up for an interview starting on Monday, February 2nd. 

Attention Best Buddies- This is a reminder that we will be making mid-term stress balls in the media center after school tomorrow. This is a mandatory event. Please see Mr. T, Mr. Garcia or a member of the leadership team if you have any questions.

Congratulations to Ben Silvia on his acceptance to University of New Hampshire. YAHOO!!

The boys' basketball team had its best performance of the year in a 70-51 victory over Case last night.  Adam Conlon led all scorers with 23 points while Arthur Correira added 13, Nick Koneski 11, and Jason Ramos 10.The falcons play Apponequet here @ DR on Friday night @ 6:30.
