Daily Announcements 1/7

Attn: all Ski Club Members:  There will be a meeting tomorrow after school at 2pm in the small cafeteria.  Anyone still interested in going skiing this Sunday to Wachusett Mountain please attend this meeting - We have room for 12 more students.

There will be a student government meeting on Thursday after school in the small cafe. Please see Ms. Beckett and Mr. Cooke if you have any questions.

First-place Old Rochester earned a hard-fought 71-62 win over the boys' basketball team last night.  Nick Koneski led all scorers with 24 points, Adam Conlon added 15, and Cam Reed had 10.

Pro Musica rehearsal this week is on Thursday from 2-3.  Next week's rehearsals will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with festival on Friday and Saturday; please plan accordingly!

Both the boys and girls swim teams lost to tough Apponequet teams yesterday at home. Congratulations to freshman Megan Alves whose 100 freestyle performance qualified for both the sectional and state tournaments. First place finishes were made by Bryan Tran, Megan Alves, and the girls 200 Freestyle Relay with Kim Reilly, Rebekah Medeiros, Holly Wentworth, and Sam Brown. The swim team will meet against East Providence next Monday, January 12 at home.

The girls' basketball team lost to Old Rochester 49-36. The team was lead by Erin Kelley with 10 points and Kasey Charette with 9 points. The team plays Sunday afternoon at home vs. Carver.
