Thank you, Thomas Munroe!

The DRRSD IT Team felt with only one week left for Seniors to it would be appropriate to thank Thomas Munroe for all the IT assistance he has given over the last 2-3 years.

Thomas Munroe has assisted, directly or indirectly, just about everyone in the school and district during his time. He has always been willing to assist with whatever technology projects have been going on here or at the middle and elementary schools.

He has assisted in Hardware support, server installation and maintenance, network design and troubleshooting, cabling, documentation, basic desktop and projector support, laptop and netbook repair, and so much more.
A couple of his many notable accomplishments:
Built the virtual server template which is now used as our new BudgetSense Server
Repairing netbooks and salvaging parts saving the district a fair amount
Documentation of the High School Network
Setting up and Imaging full computer labs
Building the Mobile Chromebook Cart

He has been an asset to the IT team and has grown in maturity during his time as an IT intern. The positive experience he has provided the IT team has opened us up to more interns in the future and therefore opened the door for other students looking to improve their IT skills and gain valuable experience.

The IT team wishes Thomas Munroe success as he attends the New England Institute of Technology in pursuit of his Bachelors in Cyber Security and begins what we feel will be a highly successful career in IT.

If you see Thomas around please feel free to thank him for all his hard work and for sacrificing much of two summers as well as multiple school vacation weeks to assist all of us in the Dighton Rehoboth Regional School District.  His work is very much appreciated.
