AP Europe

Students in AP Euro dressed up as their designated historical characters as they put Louis XIV "the Sun King" on trial for crimes against humanity and the state. Student completed research in the media center to get into their role and served as James I of England, Jacques Bossuet, a Hapsburg representative and Louis XIV himself. The prosecution and defense called their witnesses and presented their cases. In all, students understood the impact of absolutism not only on France, but also on the rest of European politics.
