Daily Announcements

Reminder that there is a Mock Trial Practice tonight, Tuesday, November 1st from 6pm-8pm in the media center.  Please be sure to attend as the new case will be handed out.  

Boy's Varsity soccer practice will be on the JV field from 2:15-4:15. 

All JV players should return their uniforms tomorrow after school in the locker room. 

Signups for the Boston Trip are still going on! Please sign up on Ms. Beckett's door in 108 by this Friday to reserve your spot. 

Attention Freshmen: Please join us for our next Freshmen Transition Program assembly this week on WEDNESDAY, Nov. 2nd at 2:00 pm in the media center. This meeting's agenda includes information pertaining to spirit week sign-ups and participation, spirit week fundraisers, homecoming, winter sports, etc. Please see your mentor or a Freshmen Transition advisor with any questions. 


 Sophomore dues will be collected on Tuesday Nov 1st through Thursday Nov 10th during all 4 lunches. Dues are $15. Class of 2019 reps, check Miss Harwood's door for lunch coverage assignments. See your class adviser, Miss Harwood in room 307 with any questions.

Attn: Students: picture retakes will be done on Tuesday, November 15. If you need a picture form please come to the office to pick one up.

National Society Inductees are reminded to turn in their induction biography and donation to Mrs. Payne by next week.

International Thespian Society members-voting for all officer positions will take place at 2:00 in the auditorium on Wednesday, November 2nd.

There will be a brief meeting of the Portuguese Club this Thursday 11/3 so that members can sign up for the outing on 11/10. We need to have a number so as to book the restaurant. Any questions see one of the officers or Mr. Augusto

There will be a Literacy Initiative meeting on Friday, November 4th after school in room 217. 

Anyone interested in playing varsity, JV, or freshman boys' basketball should attend an organizational meeting in room 113 on Friday, November 4th at 2 p.m.

The JV Girls Soccer team capped off a successful season with a 2-0 victory over Old Rochester yesterday. Alyson Rego scored in the first half and Hannah Jordan added an insurance goal in the 2nd. Megan Reed earned the shutout in net thanks to a great team defensive effort led by Mya Beausoleil, Alexa Goyette, and Shea Herman. Great season girls!

The Golf Team's very successful season concluded yesterday when the team finished 8th in the Division II State Finals. Senior Blake Cox concluded his high school career on a high note, finishing 5th in the Individual Tournament with a fine round of 76; junior Sam Taraian turned in a score of 79 and finished tied for 12th. Senior co-captain Mitch Brown (86), and freshman Adam Housley and junior Jack Chrystie (both 87) rounded out the scoring for the Falcons.

The Girls Varsity Soccer team finished the regular season with a 4-1 win over Old-Rochester yesterday. The win secured second place in the conference, just one point shy of the championship, with a record of 9-2-3.
