Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School Celebrates One of Their Most Successful Golf Seasons in Years

This year's Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School Golf banquet was held at the beautiful Hillside Country Club; the home course of the DR Falcon Golf Team.  The golf team has their annual banquet preceding the Veterans Day holiday and this year was no exception.  However, tonight's banquet had a different feel in that this year's team was undefeated having 18 wins, 0 losses, and a SCC Championship.  Additionally, it marked the 40th year of Mr. Bill Cute's dedicated coaching of golf at DR.

Dr. Azar, in his remarks to the gathering said, "Mr. Cute is the absolute epitome of what and who a great coach should be: someone whom genuinely cares about the student-athlete and one that is totally committed to making each one of his students of the game, better. Tonight we salute Mr. Bill Cute as an outstanding coach and mentor to his players and we celebrate the student-athletes for a remarkable and magical year."

Congratulations to the golf team and Mr. Cute.
