New DRHS Principal

Dear Dighton-Rehoboth Community:

I am excited to share with you the good news that John Gould,  current principal at Dartmouth High School, has signed a three year contract to be principal of the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School.

He will begin his tenure on July 1st, 2017 while also visiting the district several days before his official start date.  John will be introduced officially to our community on Tuesday, June 13th at a meet and greet in the Media Center beginning at 5:30.  Light refreshments will be served.  Prior to that community introduction he will spend a few days walking the hallways with Dr. Bonneau as well as meeting with his new staff and students.

Later that evening of June 13th he will be introduced to the School Committee at their regularly scheduled meeting. We are very excited that Dr. Gould has accepted our offer to be principal of our high school.  I can assure you that John is equally excited to be our new principal.

I would like to thank the search committee, under the guidance of Dr. Zhou, for bringing forth an excellent candidate. After the interview process was completed,  it became abundantly clear that John will be an excellent fit for our high school as well as for our district.

Thanks,
Dr. Azar
