Mason Cadorette competed last Wednesday in the International Bowl in Dallas Texas against Team Canada U18 division. Congrats Mason! Go Falcons!

Chris Hoskins has been accepted to the Mass. All-State concert festival...woo-hoo!! He will be singing in the chorus, performing at Boston's Symphony Hall in March.
Also would like to recognize members of the Pro Musica Select Choir who participated in the Tri-County Choral Festival this past weekend, and also senior Charlie Pike who volunteered his time to play clarinet in the festival concert. Choir participants were:

8 members of DR's Speech and Debate team traveled to the High School Invitational tournament at Columbia University this past weekend. Kat Poole and Sierra Candeias competed in Duo Interpretation. Kat also competed with her own written and memorized peice in Original Oratory. Emily Rafanan, Noelle Noones and Garrett Cord took on the arduous task of Oral interpretation competing in rounds of poetry and prose reading. Eliana Baptista performed in Dramatic Performance. Ethan Thaler and Skylar Jones created a persuasive argument in Extemporaneous speaking. Kat went on to compete in quarter finals for her Original Oratory. The team has a short break before their next tournament in March.

The Dighton Rehoboth Leo Club volunteered at the Martin Luther King GIFT TO GIVE as part of the MLK Day of Service.

I would like to congratulate the following DECA members on qualifying for states today in their respective business categories. The MA DECA District 2 competition was held yesterday and today at the Mansfield Holiday Inn, and featured 750 students from 14 schools. Most notably, two teams took 1st place overall along with a runner-up performance.

The DECA State Career Development Conference will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley from March 8th-10th, where the 15 students above will compete with hopes of advancing to nationals in Atlanta.

Seniors: you may now come to the office any day to pay for your cap and gown. The cost is $21.00 and you do get to keep it. If you have paid your class dues all 4 years then you do not need to pay for your cap and gown. Please see Mrs. Stahowiak in the office.
The DR Swim Team is holding its annual Super Bowl Sub Sale!
This fundraiser runs from now until February 2.
There are four sandwich options :Turkey, Tuna, Italian,Veggie.
Each sandwich is $5.00.
They will be delivered to Dighton and Rehoboth addresses on Super Bowl Sunday (February 4).
Each sandwich is handmade with fresh ingredients on Calise Bakery sub rolls by DR Swimmer/Sandwich Artists.

Winter Ball tickets will be sold before and after school in the cafeteria through January 12th. This year's Winter Ball will take place on February 2nd at the Holiday Inn in Taunton. The cost per ticket is $25. Please note: Guest tickets will NOT be sold without a guest contract completed in full. No exceptions. Please see Mrs. Hopkins in room 217 with any questions.
