Daily Announcements 11-5-18

Reminder to all girls interested in playing lacrosse in the Spring. There is an informational meeting on Wednesday after school from 2 to 2:30 in room 503. All girls interested in playing must attend.

Attention CTE students there will be a skills USA meeting directly after school today in room 522.  We will install our chapter leaders for the school year. 2018/ 19. Come show your support. Any questions see Mrs Tella...see you there


There is a mandatory meeting for all current members of the NHS Thursday after school in room 111. Any questions, see Mr. Pacheco

There is a student government meeting on Wednesday. See Ms. B if you cannot attend.

SPORTS UPDATES

Congratulations to freshman Brady Courcy, Graeme Sullivan, Avery Thomas, Molly Walsh, and Isabel Murdock on winning medals for finishing in the top 30 at the state freshman meet in Wrentham.

The varsity football team defeated Plymouth South last night 26-6. Touchdowns were score by Owen Arden Brian Ripley Chase Carroll and Joe Carrera scored touchdowns, \\HArry Pray threw for 150 yards and threw 3 touchdown passes Defensively Matt Moura and Jaren Ramos had interceptions. Mason Cadorette and Ray Zinncone played well holding Plymouth to one touchdown. 

The Falcons advance to the Division 4 south finals hosting Milton High School this Friday night.

The Girls Varsity Soccer Team defeated Middleboro 2-1 yesterday in the first round of the MIAA Tournament. The game was tied 1-1 after regulation and two sudden victory overtime periods and ended in a Penalty Kick Shoot Out. Hannah Jordan, Angel Correia, Jillian Hughes, Caitlin Morgado and Carleigh Hall all finished their penalty kicks. Meghan Reed made a heroic save on Middleboro's third shooter paving the way for the D-R victory. The girls take on Plymouth South in the Quarterfinals at 2:00 today at the Bliss Soccer Complex in Rehoboth. Come out and support your Falcons!!!

The boy's soccer team lost to Greater New Bedford 2-0 yesterday in the 1st round of the MIAA tournament.
