Attention members of the 2019 football team there will be a brief meeting after exams in the cafeteria. Bring your list of emails to the meeting

 Attention all Sophomores and Juniors, sign ups for the PSAT/ NMSQT examinations are now open. Please sign up with Ms. Shillan in guidance for the PSAT/ NMSQT exam. The exam will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The cost is $26.00 cash only and is nonrefundable. Registration will be done on a first come first serve basis. There are only 185 spots. Sign up in guidance today!

 If you are planning on taking AP Environmental in the fall, please see Mrs. Rose in 224 to get the summer scavenger hunt directions.

Students interested in fishing in the Fishing Club's 2nd Annual Bass fishing Tournament on Thursday, June 20th should have their money and permission slip to Mr. Gendron by tomorrow.

Daily Announcements 6-11-19

Attention Leo Club the final meeting of the year will be Wednesday after school in room 111. Final plans for the induction ceremony and open mic night will be discussed. Please make every effort to attend.

 The informational boy's soccer meeting for anyone interested in playing boy's soccer next year will be held on Thursday, June 13th in Room 122 immediately after school. Please see Coach Kulpa or Coach Augusto with any questions.

 There are 5 yearbooks left-- these are the last of the yearbooks. Come grab one before they are gone. See Mrs. Tremblett by Friday if interested.

Daily Announcements 6-7-19

Any student who signed up to take AP U.S. History next year should see Ms. King in room 113 for the Summer Homework packet.

There will be an informational boy's soccer meeting on Wednesday, June 12th in Room 122 immediately after school. Any boy interested in playing soccer next year should attend.

 Anyone interested in playing football in the 2019 season, there will be a sign up and informational meeting on Wednesday June 12th in the cafeteria at 2:15. Any questions see Coach Moura in room 115 or Coach Gendron in the gymnasium. 

Best Buddies will be holding its annual Buddy Games after school on Tuesday, June 11th from 2 to 3 pm. All members are encouraged to participate. See Ms. Burnham or Mr. Garcia is you have any questions.

 The Boys Tennis team will have its end of the year meeting on Monday June 10th after school in room 122. All uniforms are to be returned to Mr. Augusto.

We are proud to be celebrating our 5th year of partnering with Special Olympics to promote social inclusion through Unified Sports.

We encourage you to support our Special Olympic Athletes who will be competing at the School Day Games today in Attleboro. Show your support by cheering them on and giving them a high five.

Daily Announcements 6-6-19

Attn: Students: Cheerleading tryouts will be held on Tuesday June 11 and Thursday June 13 from 6-8 in the Small Gym.

The Boys Tennis team lost to Scituate yesterday 5-0 in the first round of the State Tournament despite the valiant efforts of Logan Pimentel and Steven Morgado who lost in first doubles in 3 sets while Jacob Harris and Luke Taylor also lost in three sets in second doubles. The Boys ended their season with a 10-7 record. The end of the year meeting will be Monday after school in room 122. All uniforms should be turned in.

There will be an informational meeting for all girls interesting in playing summer league basketball immediately after school on Thursday 6/6 in room 227.

Daily Announcements 6-4-19

All grades will be collecting class dues Monday June 3rd until Friday June 7th. Dues will be collected at all lunches. Freshmen and sophomore dues are $15, Junior dues are $25.

 There will be a meeting on Thursday June 6th after school in the cafeteria for any girl interested in playing volleyball this fall. Any questions see Mr. Pacheco in room 111 .

 Any student signed up for AP Psychology should stop by room 111 to get the summer homework from Mr. Pacheco or check the school website for details on this year's project.

 Any student interested in trying out for the Golf team in August should plan to attend an organizational meeting on Tuesday, June 11 in room 115 after school.

Mr. Augusto's second period class Portuguese IV will report to room 212 due to MCAS.

This week's Leo Club meeting will be Wednesday in room 111 at 2pm

Attention NHS students the final meeting of the year will be held Monday June 10th in room 111 after school. Elections for new officers will occur at that time and community service logs will be collected.

 Any student interested in purchasing a yearbook, see Mrs. Tremblett. There are a few extras available for $75.

Daily Announcements 5-30-19

Any girls interested in playing soccer in the Fall should attend the soccer meeting on Tuesday, June 4 at 2:00 in Coach Madsen's Room, room 304. Information about summer league, friendly get-together's and prep-camp and pre-season will be distributed.

All grades will be collecting class dues Monday June 3rd until Friday June 7th. Dues will be collected at all lunches. Freshmen and sophomore dues are $15, Junior dues are $25.

 Congratulations to the Boys tennis team for its win over Fairhaven yesterday by the score of 4-1. The boys ended their season with a record of 10-6. The boys now await the pairings for the state tournament. The boys will practice from2-4 today.

Congratulations to the entire Unified Track Team as they completed their season with yesterday at the State finals at Milford HS. The relay teams had a strong showing, placing third in the state in the 4x100 and first overall in the 4x400 relay. If you see any members of the Unified Track Team today, tell them congratulations and give them a high five.

Attention students interested in going to Spain and Portugal next April 2020. There will be an informational meeting for parents and students on Wednesday may 29th at 6:30 in the media center. It is a very important meeting that you and your parents should attend. If you have any questions please see Mrs. de Aguiar or Mr. Augusto.

Elections for the International Thespian Society will be Tuesday at 2:00 in room 303. See Mrs. LaSalle with any questions.

Daily Announcements 5-16-19

Summer reading lists are now available on the school website. Summer reading is required of all students. All students will complete assessments in September. If you have any questions see your English teacher.

Student Government Spring Elections are coming up! All positions are available for reelection including School Committee Advisory! See Ms. Beckett in room 108 to pick up a nomination packet. Nomination forms are due by Thursday, May 23rd.

 Harrison Pray had 4 hits and 5 RBI to lead the baseball team to a 13-3 win at New Bedford Vocational yesterday. Lucas Berube added a 2 run home run, Will Thibault had 2 doubles with 2 RBI, and Ishmael Christmas had 2 hits including a triple. Bert Jones pitched 6 solid innings to earn his first varsity win. The same two teams play at DR at 3:45 today.

Attention all DR Boys basketball players from this year’s 2019 freshman JV and Varsity teams.  We will meet at 2pm today after school in the cafeteria.

 Last night the Girls Outdoor Track team won their final dual meet against Case High School. They took first place in 15 out of 16 events with many performing their season best times and distances. Among them was senior Gwyn Tatton who once again qualified in javelin for the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Track event in North Carolina this June. Congratulations to the entire team on their record of 4 - 1.

 Congratulations to the Boys Tennis team for its 3-2 win over Bishop Feehan yesterday. Winnesr were Peter Anghinetti at second singles. Logan Pimentel and Steven Morgado at first doubles and Jacob Harris and Luke Taylor with the deciding win at second doubles in three sets. The Boys record now stands at 8-6. The boys will have late practice today.

The will be a short meeting for the Portuguese club today after school in room 122 to discuss our last outing with the seniors. please see Mr. Augusto or one of the officers if you have any questions.

 Chorus members are reminded to report to the auditorium at 11:15 today.

  A huge congratulations to the Boys Spring Track team who finished the season 5-0 with an 82-52 victory over Seekonk yesterday! They are this year’s SCC Champions! Combined with winter, their 2018-19 seasons were undefeated at 10-0. Great job everyone!

Attn: Students......If you will be attending the prom on Friday and if you are getting dismissed, you must bring a written dismissal note to the office first thing in the morning and you cannot be dismissed prior to 12:18. ABSOLTULEY NO EMAILS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR DISMISSALS

Attention all students attending the prom Friday evening. You must be present for 3 blocks the day of prom to attend. Strict attendance policy will be adhered to and checked at the event. If planning on leaving early (after block 3), bring in a signed parent note to the main office the morning of for approval.

Prom Dismissals

Parents/Guardians:
Due to the overwhelming number of students who will be dismissed on Friday, May 17th 2019 due to the prom we will not be dismissing students by phone or through email. In order for students to be dismissed they must have a dismissal note in the morning stating the time to be dismissed. Also, a student cannot be dismissed prior to 12:18 if they plan to attend prom. If a student is dismissed prior to 12:18 they must have a doctor’s note in order for it to be excused. Any questions please reach out to administration.

Daily Announcements 5-14-19

The baseball team had 22 hits in a 19-7 win over Bishop Feehan. Harrison Pray & Shayne O’Neil had 4 hits each. Will Thibault had 3 hits and 4 RBI while Zach Lyne & Hendrix Pray added 3 hits each.

Today's NHS meeting will be in the cafeteria right after school. Night of Excellence, graduation, service hours, and elections for next year will be discussed. Any issues please see Mr. Pacheco

This week's Leo Meeting will be held Wednesday after school in room 111. 

The Driver Eduation classes have been canceled due to low enrollment.  No classes will be held here this spring.
